NO “Musical INSTRUMENTS” In “The NEW TESTAMENT”, So NO “Musical INSTRUMENTS” In “CHURCH”?

NOTE: This note is NOT, in anyway to “OFFEND” anyone that “BELIEVES” that musical “INSTRUMENTS” SHOULDN’T be “PLAYED”/”USED” in “CHURCH, but this note is to “HELP” those that ever “PONDERED” about this subject. So with my “UNDERSTANDING” of the biblical passages below, I “HOPE to “EDIFY”, or MERELY “HELP”,  & if you “DISAGREE with this note, PLEASE FEEL “FREE” to state why, with “COMMON SENSE”, & any biblical passages to back your “CLAIMS” up of why you “DISAGREE with this note, THANK you:)

It's "AWKWARD" how some "CHURCHES" DON'T "ALLOW" the "PLAYING" of "INSTRUMENTS" in their "CHURCH", so there's NO "USE" of any of their "CHURCH" members "CLAPPING" their "HANDS", & "USING" their "VOICES" to "SING, because "CLAPPING" of "HANDS" & "SINGING" of a person's "VOICE"" are "INSTRUMENTS" of the "BODY"!

From “THE NEW TESTAMENT”:

You CAN'T HAVE “THE NEW TESTAMENT” WITHOUT “THE OLD TESTAMENT” & you CAN'T HAVE “THE OLD TESTAMENT” WITHOUT “THE NEW TESTAMENT”, because “THE OLD TESTAMENT” & “THE NEW TESTAMENT”, GO with one another, because;

"Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old."-Matthew 13:52 (KJV), & also;

“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.”- Revelations 5:6 (KJV)

Revelations 14:2-3 (KJV):

2. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

3. And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

&;

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.”-Revelations 15:2 (KJV)

So with reading Revelations 5:6, 14:2-3, & 15:2, also Matthew 6:9-10 says that;

Matthew 6:9-10 (KJV):

9. Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

So as Matthew 6:10 says; "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." The “PLAYING”/”USING” of “INSTRUMENTS” in the “CHURCH”, ACCORDING  to the passages in “THE NEW TESTAMENT”, PROVES that “PLAYING”/”USING” of “INSTRUMENTS” in the “CHURCH” is “PROHIBITED”, since Revelations 5:6, 14:2-3, & 15:2 “SHOWS” that “HARPS” were/or are BEING “PLAYED” up in “HEAVEN”, of where GOD’s “THRONE” RESIDES, & also, that WOULD “CONNECT” with Matthew 6:10 to “PLAY” INSTRUMENTS down here in “CHURCH”, when a group of ‘SAINTS” COME TOGETHER to ‘WORSHIP” GOD here on “EARTH”, as Revelations 5:6 describes the four beasts and four and twenty elders did with their harps, (INSTRUMENTS) in Heaven.

Luke 15:25 (KJV): Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

To “CONTINUE” READING.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”-Colossians 3:16 (KJV)

&;

“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”-Ephesians 5:19 (KJV)

So with “READING” Colossians 3:16 & Ephesians 5:19,

“We are commanded by the Lord to receive teaching and admonish each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God.  Singing to God is definitely worship and this is done in churches.  Therefore, we are commanded to do this with psalm, hymns, and spiritual songs.”- Matt Slick

From “THE OLD TESTAMENT”:

In particular, the Psalms contain instructions that we worship the Lord with musical instruments:
Psalms 33:2 (KJV): Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Psalms 71:22 (KJV): I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

Psalms 81:1-3 (KJV):

1. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

2. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

3. Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Psalms 92:1-4 (KJV):

1. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

2. To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

3. Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

4. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Psalms 98:5-6 (KJV):

5. Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

6. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

Furthermore, in Ephesians 5:19, the phrase "making melody" is the Greek word, psallo which means;

1.   to pluck off, pull out
2.   to cause to vibrate by touching, to twang
3.   to touch or strike the chord, to twang the strings of a musical instrument so that they gently vibrate
4.   to play on a stringed instrument, to play, the harp, etc.
5.   to sing to the music of the harp
6.   in the NT to sing a hymn, to celebrate the praises of God in song

(The KJV New Testament Greek Lexicon ): http://www.biblestudytools.com/lexicons/greek/kjv/psallo.html

We CAN “SEE” that the making melody to the Lord INVOLVES the use of musical “INSTRUMENTS”.

With ALL that has been “MENTIONED” up above, for those “CHURCHES” that DON’T “ALLOW” the “PLAYING”/”USING” of musical “INSTRUMENTS” in their “CHURCH”, then each of their “CHURCH” members SHOULD NOT “LISTEN” to any type of “MUSIC’ that CONTAINS “INSTRUMENTS” in it, & if their members DO, or ARE “LISTENING” to any type of “MUSIC’ that CONTAINS musical “INSTRUMENTS” in it, then those members of those “CHURCHES” that DON’T “ALLOW” the “PLAYING”/”USING” of musical “INSTRUMENTS” in their “CHURCH” are just PLAIN “HYPOCRITES”!!!

What is a “CHURCH” you may ask? Well a “CHURCH” CONSISTS of SAINTS COMING TOGETHER as “ONE BODY” to “SERVE” & “WORSHIP” CHRIST, because;

Hebrews 10:24-25 (KJV):

24. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

1 Corinthians 12:14-27 (KJV):

14. For the body is not one member, but many.

15. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

16. And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

17. If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

18. But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

19. And if they were all one member, where were the body?

20. But now are they many members, yet but one body.

21. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

23. And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

24. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

25. That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

26. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

27. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.”- Revelations 5:6 (KJV)

Since Revelations 5:6, 14:2-3, & 15:2 “SHOWS” that “HARPS” were/or are BEING “PLAYED” up in “HEAVEN”, of where GOD’s “THRONE” RESIDES,, “ANGELS”, “ANGELIC”/”SPIRITUAL” beings, are up their NOW “WORSHIPING” GOD, so if,

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”-John 4:24 (KJV)

You CAN'T HAVE “THE NEW TESTAMENT” WITHOUT “THE OLD TESTAMENT” & you CAN'T HAVE “THE OLD TESTAMENT” WITHOUT “THE NEW TESTAMENT”, because “THE OLD TESTAMENT” & “THE NEW TESTAMENT”, GO with one another, because;

"Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old."-Matthew 13:52 (KJV), & also;

Therefore, we are “FREE” to “USE” musical “INSTRUMENTS” in the “CHURCH” in our “WORSHIP” to the Lord.

PEACE:)
