What Is “RELIGION”, According To The Holy Bible?

MANY people, “BASE” a “RELIGION” on POLITICS, MAN-MADE RELIGIONS, FALSE RELIGIONS, & INSTITUTIONAL SYSTEM RELIGIONS, but there’s one reason, why the word “RELIGION” is used in The Holy Bible.

The English word “religion”, which is generally defined as; “Belief in, worship of, or obedience to a supernatural power or powers considered to be divine or to have control of human destiny" is derived from the Latin word “religio”, which meant to respect, or care for. "RELIGION" is found only 5 times, in the King James Version of The Holy Bible, to translate, (the Old Testament was originally written mostly in Hebrew and the New Testament was written mostly in Greek).

But what does The Holy Bible say about “RELIGION”, NOT “MAN-MADE RELIGIONS” or “FALSE RELIGIONS”, but “RELIGION”, according to how GOD describes it?

Well, the best description of “RELIGION” CAN be found in the book of James, chapter 1, verses 22-27, in which it says;

22. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

23. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

24. For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

25. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

26. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

27. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

That is what “RELIGION” is, according to the book of James, chapter 1, verses 22-27, in which The Holy Bible stands by, of how James 1:22-27 just explained.

So, if someone or some people are TRULY "GIVING" their all, everyday, & TRULY "GIVING" their "BEST" to CONTINUE to “BELIEVE, to have “FAITH”, to “FOLLOW”, to "LIVE", to "SERVE", to “TRUST”, to “LOVE”, & to "OBEY" GOD & CHRIST, with all of their being, DOESN'T mean that they are “RELIGIOUS” & a part of some “RELIGION”! DIDN'T it ever OCCUR to you people, that the way that person, or those people that TRULY "GIVE" their all, everyday, & that TRULY "GIVE" their "BEST" to CONTINUE to “BELIEVE, to have “FAITH”, to “FOLLOW”, to "LIVE", to "SERVE", to “TRUST”, to “LOVE”, & to "OBEY" GOD & CHRIST have a “RELATIONSHIP” with GOD & CHRIST, but you being so “HATED” on "RELIGION" or “MAN-MADE/FALSE RELIGIONS”, that you tend to “FORGET”, that TRUE BELIEVING, TRUE FAITH, TRUE FOLLOWING, TRUE LIVING, TRUE SERVING, TRUE TRUSTING, TRUE LOVING, & TRUE OBEYING towards GOD & CHRIST is like a TRUE SPIRITUAL RELIGIOUS "RELATIONSHIP" with GOD & CHRIST & has “NOTHING” to do with any MAN-MADE/FALSE “RELIGIONS”!

So when a person, or a people have a TRUE “RELATIONSHIP” with GOD & CHRIST, they are having a TRUE “CARE” for, & a TRUE “RESPECT” for GOD & CHRIST, in regards to how “RELIGION” is defined in the second paragraph pf this not, & in James 1:22-27, of that person, or those people having a TRUE SPIRITUAL RELIGIOUS “RELATIONSHIP” with GOD & CHRIST.

And by the way, DON’T “MISTAKEN” someone TELLING you that their, or his/her “RELIGION” is TRUE, if they “FOLLOW” the MAN-MADE/FALSE “RELIGIONS” of CHRISTIANITY, CATHOLIC, BAPTIST, METHODIST, JEHOVAH WITNESS, MORMONISM, LUTHERAN, ISLAM, JUDAISM, PRESBYTERIAN, APOSTOLIC, COGIC, & MANY more, because as history has PROVEN, all these “RELIGIONS” that were named have had their, or have their “DEVOTED” members & followers “PROCLAIM” that they “BELIEVE” in, have “FAITH” in, “FOLLOW”, "LIVE", "SERVE", “TRUST”, “LOVE”, & "OBEY" GOD & CHRIST, but the WORDS that “SPEW” out of their mouths & the “ACTIONS” that they SHOW, “DECEIVE” their own hearts, in which makes their MAN-MADE/FALSE “RELIGIONS” of CHRISTIANITY, CATHOLIC, BAPTIST, METHODIST, JEHOVAH WITNESS, MORMONISM, LUTHERAN, ISLAM, JUDAISM, PRESBYTERIAN, APOSTOLIC, COGIC, & MANY more MAN-MADE/FALSE “RELIGIONS” be all in “VAIN”, because;

“If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.”-James 1:26 (KJV).

So, with all that being said up above, I’m NOT saying to “LOVE” RELIGION, but to “LOVE” RELIGION, of how it’s described in James 1:22-27, but for you to “HATE” the “RELIGION” of POLITICS, MAN-MADE RELIGIONS, FALSE RELIGIONS, & INSTITUTIONAL SYSTEM RELIGIONS.

Colossians 2:6-8 (KJV):

6. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

7. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Galatians 1:6-10 (KJV):

6. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

10. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Matthew 16:24-26 (KJV):

24. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

25. For whosoever save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

26. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

And one lasting thing;

Contrary to popular BELIEF, CHRIST “DIDN’T” COME to ABOLISH “RELIGION”, because;
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”-Matthew 5:17 (KJV)

It may seem like a small technical error, but it does make a lot of DIFFERENCE.

Be “FREE”!

It’s been “LONG” & it’s been “HARD”, & it’s “TIME” for “YOU” to TURN to “GOD”!

DON’T let the “CHAINS” of “SIN” KEEP YOU” “SHACKLED” & “LOCKED” DOWN, because it’s “TIME” for “YOU” to “UNLEASH” “YOURSELF”, from the “SINS” that’s KEEPING “YOU” “BOUND”!

On the “LEFT SIDE”, “YOU” HAVE “SATAN”, & on the “RIGHT SIDE”, “YOU” HAVE “GOD” & “CHRIST”.

So DO what’s “RIGHT”, & NOT CHOOSE “DEATH” with “SATAN”, but CHOOSE “LIFE” with “GOD” & “CHRIST”.

So “NOW” IT’S “TIME” to “MAKE” the “CHOICE” to be “FREE”!

Be “FREE”, so that “YOU” CAN “STOP” “TURNING” to “YOUR” “SINFUL VOMIT”!

Be “FREE” from the “SINS” that “YOU” “COMMIT”!

Be “FREE” in MIND, BODY, SOUL, & SPIRIT, & “GIVE” “YOURSELF” over to the “MOST HIGH”!

Be “FREE”, so that you CAN “LIVE”, & NOT “DIE”!

Be “FREE”, & LAY DOWN “YOUR” “SINS”

Be “FREE”, so that “YOU” MAY “LIVE” AGAIN!

Be “FREE” in MIND, BODY, SOUL, & SPIRIT, to “TRULY” “OBEY” “GOD” & “CHRIST”.

Be “FREE” from “SIN”, so that “YOU” MAY “OBTAIN”, with “GOD” & "CHRIST”, “ETERNAL LIFE”!

Galatians 5:1 (KJV): Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Be “FREE” & DON’T LET “SIN” KEEP “YOU” “HOSTAGE”!

1 Corinthians 7:22 (KJV): For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

So be “FREE” & be “OBEDIENT” to “GOD” & "CHRIST”, but to “SATAN” & SIN”, be “DISOBEDIENT”!

Romans 6:18 (KJV): Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Be “FREE” from “SIN”, so that “YOU”, TOWARDS “GOD” & “CHRIST”, CAN be “BLAMELESS” & SPOTLESS”.

John 8:36 (KJV): If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

And if “CHRIST” MAKES “YOU” “FREE”, be “FREE”, because “GOD” & “CHRIST” is ALL “YOU” NEED!

2 Corinthians 2:17 (KJV): Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

To be with the “SPIRIT” of “GOD”, is to be “FREE”!

Are “TATTOOS” “SINFUL”?

DISCLAIMER: This NOTE is to “ALLOW” people to “KNOW” & ‘UNDERSTAND”, why “TATTOOS” are “SINFUL”.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”- Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)

So, the “QUESTION” is, are “TATTOOS” “SINFUL”?

Well, “TATTOOS” are “SINFUL”, because;

“Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.”-Leviticus 19:28 (KJV)

“YOU” did NOT “CREATE” “”YOURSELF”, NOR did “YOU” GIVE “YOUSELF” your “BODY”, for ”YOU” to “DECIDE” to PUT a “TATTOO” on that “BODY” of “YOURS”, in which “GOD” OWNS, because;

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”-1 Corinthians 6:19 (KJV)

But people say that they are “FORGIVEN” KNOWING that GOD will “FORGIVE” them for GETTING “TATTOOS”, but;

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”-2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV),

&;

“For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;”-Romans 2:12 (KJV)

Leviticus 19:28 is the “LAW” of “GOD”, & if a “PERSON” or “PEOPLE” “SIN”, WITHOUT “KEEPING” the “LAW” of “GOD” as SPECIFIED in Romans 2:12, then they WILL “PERISH” WITHOUT the “LAW” of “GOD”, because;

“For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;”-Romans 2:12 (KJV)

The “LAW” of “GOD” is “KNOWLEDGE” that “PEOPLE” SHOULD “KNOW”, but if those SAME “PEOPLE” DON’T WANT to “KNOW  the “KNOWLEDGE” of the “LAW” of “GOD”, then;

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."-Hosea 4:6 (KJV)

So with GETTING “TATTOOS” that “RESEMBLE” “PEOPLES’” FAVORITE bible verses on their BODIES, or “RELIGIOUS” SYMBOLS” like a “CROSS”, a “DOVE”, a “FISH”, or “ANYTHING” else, some “PEOPLE” WILL “THINK”, or even “BELIEVE” that it’s OK, & that they’re “HONORING” GOD, but;

“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”- Proverbs 16:25 (KJV),

&;

"For the wages of sin is death;"-Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Then those SAME “PEOPLE” WILL say that GOD "LOOKS" at the "HEART", & “KNOWS” my “HEART”, & “YES”, GOD "LOOKS" at the "HEARTS" of people, but GOD also "LOOKS" at the "OUTWARD APPEARANCE" of people as well, because whatever’s in a person’s "HEART", "GOOD" or 'EVIL", that person’s "HEART', whether it is "GOOD" or 'EVIL", WILL "REFLECT" on that person’s "OUTWARD APPEARANCE", in regards to that person’s "DRESS", "ATTITUDE", "BEHAVIOR, "SPEECH", "LIFESTYLE", or in this case HAVING “TATTOOS” on their “BODY”,

because;

"As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man."-Proverbs 27:19 (KJV)

So why WOULD “ANYONE” WANT to “MARK UP” their “BODIES” with “TATTOOS”, in which their “BODIES”, they DO NOT “OWN”, but END UP in “DEATH” by “COMMITTING” “SIN”, of GETTING a “TATTOO” on his/her “BODY?

HAVING a “TATTOO” on the “BODY” is NOT BEING “DIFFERENT” from the “WORLD”, but BEING just like the “WORLD”, because to be “DIFFERENT” from the “WORLD” & to “TRULY” be a “DOER”, “BELIEVER”, & “FOLLOWER” of “GOD”, then there’s NO “NEED” for “SO-CALLED” “DOERS”, “BELIEVERS”, & “FOLLOWERS” of “GOD” to HAVE “TATTOOS” on their “BODIES”, in which their “BODIES” are NOT their “OWN”, because;

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”-1 John 2:15 (KJV)

When it COMES to “TATTOOS”, DON’T “SERVE” GOD in “IGNORANCE”, but “SERVE” GOD in “SPIRIT” & in “TRUTH”, & in “KNOWLEDGE”, because with "SERVING" GOD in “SPIRIT” & in “TRUTH”, that's

"when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."-John 4:23 (KJV)

But “SERVING” GOD WITHOUT HAVING"KNOWLEDGE" of him, then;

So;

"Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;"-1 Corinthians 10:1 (KJV),

"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"-Acts 17:30 (KJV)

“CHRIST” CAME with the “LAW” of “GOD” (John 7:16), to “SHOW” us the “CORRECT” path TOWARDS “GOD”, but NOT to “ALLOW” us to STAY in “IGNORANCE” AGAINST  the “CORRECT” path TOWARDS “GOD” & “CHRIST”.

So, the “QUESTION” is, are “TATTOOS” “SINFUL”?

“YES”!!!

So;

“Abstain from all appearance of evil.”-1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV)

because;

“For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.”-1 Thessalonians 4:7 (KJV)

In CLOSING;

Romans 6 (KJV):

1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

18. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

19. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

20. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

21. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

22. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”-John 8:32 (KJV)

CHRIST WAS HERE

Christ already left his footprints on the sands of time.
Know there was something that, & something that he left behind.
When he left this world, he left with no regrets, he left a lot to remember, so people won't forget.

CHRIST was here, he lived, he loved.
CHRIST was here, he did, he done, everything that he wanted, & it was more than he knew it would be, he has left his mark, so everyone will know that he was here.

Remember that CHRIST lived each day, until he died, he knew that he had something in, somebody's life.
The hearts that CHRIST has touched, will be the proof of what he left, that he made a difference, & this world will see that;

CHRIST was here, he lived, he loved.
CHRIST was here, he did, he done, everything that he wanted, & it was more than he knew it would be, he has left his mark, so everyone will know that he was here.

CHRIST was here, he lived, he loved.
CHRIST was here, he did, he done, everything that he wanted, & it was more than he knew it would be, he has left his mark, so everyone will know that he was here.

He let them know that he gave his all, & that he was the GREATEST, & brought a lot of people, a lot of people to HAPPINESS.
CHRIST left this world a little better just because;

CHRIST was here, he lived, he loved.
CHRIST was here, he did, he done, everything that he wanted, & it was more than he knew it would be, he has left his mark, so everyone will know that he was here.

CHRIST IS ALIVE & CHRIST WAS HERE.

John 1:14 (KJV): And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

DON’T “FRET” The “WICKED”!

“Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.’-Psalms 37:1 (KJV),

& by the way;

“Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:”-Proverbs 24:19 (KJV),

because;

“the way of the ungodly shall perish.”-Psalms 1:6 (KJV),

&;

“the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it”-Proverbs 2:22 (KJV).

So;

"Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth."-Psalms 73:1-9 (KJV),

but;

"Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches."-Psalms 73:12 (KJV),

because;

"When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end."-Psalms 73:16-17 (KJV).

So; "Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction."-Psalms 73:18 (KJV).

So; "How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors."-Psalms 73:19 (KJV)!

The “CREATOR”......

“CREATIVITY” is in the “EYES”, the “HANDS”, & the “IDEAS” of the “CREATOR”, who “CREATED” the “CREATION”, in which the “CREATION” that was “CREATED” by the “CREATOR”, has the “WILL” & the “WAY”” through the “CREATOR”, to “CREATE” the “CREATION”, that the “CREATOR” CAN “CREATE” through the “CREATION” he “CREATED”.

The “CREATOR” is GOD & GOD is the “CREATOR” of us that are his “CREATIONS” that he “CREATED”.

The “CREATOR” that “CREATED” EVERYTHING” WILL EXIST “FOREVER”, & WILL NEVER EVER CEASE! PEACE:)

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."-Isaiah 45:7 (KJV)

A "SPIRITUAL CHANGE” WILL COME!

Just like a “CATERPILLAR” goes into its “COCOON”, then comes out after “TRANSFORMING” itself into a “NEW” creature, a BEAUTIFUL “BUTTERFLY”, 

so;

“If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.”-Job 14:14-15 (KJV), 

because;

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”-1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJV),
